04/09/2021

MANSFIELD, PA - FCCB’s newest Commercial Lender, Roderick Ward, brings over 23 years of financial services experience to the team and a long history of helping commercial businesses achieve more.

“Solid partnerships are key to running a successful business, especially when that partner is your banker,” noted Randall E. Black, CEO and President. “The right business lender learns the ins and outs of a client’s business and helps identify opportunities for growth. That’s always been the FCCB model and we believe Roderick is the right fit.”

Most recently, Ward was a VP, Commercial Real Estate Officer for Bryn Mawr Trust in West Chester, PA. He also has years of experience as a Senior Credit Analyst and as a Senior Investment Accountant. He has advanced knowledge in Community Development, Sustainability and Green Building. Over the years, Ward has built a strong network of satisfied customers as a result of his dedication, knowledge, and experience.

Ward graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics and also attended RMA (Risk Management Association) Commercial Lending School in Philadelphia, and the Fox Business School (Temple University). He is a board member for Chester County’s Children, Inc., board member and treasurer of Phoenixville Area Soccer Club (PASC), the developer of the first privately financed LEED multi-family mid-rise project in West Philadelphia, and a member of Green Building United.

“Roderick joins a regional team of commercial lenders with nearly 200 years of combined experience between them, and a strong, independent community bank behind them,” said Black. “We believe our Commercial Lending Team is second to none, and we’re confident that given the chance their customers will agree!”
